Summary:

The Butcher is responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and displaying high-quality meat products. This includes cutting, trimming, and packaging meat according to customer requests and safety standards. We’re looking for motivated individuals to join our butchery team—no formal experience or qualifications required! This role provides hands-on training to develop essential butchery skills to those who have an interest in meat preparation and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide knowledgeable assistance with meat selections.
• Cut, trim, and prepare meat products to customer specifications.
• Prepare various cuts for display.
• Properly wrap and package meat products for sale.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area and equipment.
• Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a butcher or in a similar role is preferred, but training will be provided.
• Interest in butchery, meat processing, or food preparation.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to handle and lift heavy products
